Odds and Ends... Trying to Decorate

_decibel_ and Chris' new place and seeing how well it was decorated, I have the urge to do mine again. I have very poor luck in this department. I just don't seem to have an eye for putting colors together or I don't like the trendy colors out today. I did find one piece of framed art I really liked, but it seemed to be the wrong colors for my rooms. I'll never be a decorator on Trading Spaces, though it seems some of them aren't good at decorating either.
Well, nothing much else to report, other than lawn mowing and some shopping. Our softball tournament starts tomorrow night. The Titans play at 8:50 PM, but I will be there for some of the earlier games. :)

Date: 2006-09-18 02:24 am (UTC)If your walls are neutral, you really can hang anything. Of course it looks more pulled together if you pull a color from the art and use it to accent throughout the room, but fuck it. If you like something, put it where you can enjoy it.
