kybearfuzzOkay, driving into my garage I remembered a very creepy thing that I had somehow blocked from my mind earlier today. As I was leaving this morning, I noticed that the cover for my electronic key pad was raised on the outside of the garage door. This happened once before, but I wrote it off as my being forgetful. I remembered taking the trash out last night through the garage door, but I used the interior switch to open and close it. So I know the cover was down last night.
This made me uncomfortable this morning. I had a good day at the office so I blocked it out, but remembered it when I drove up today. It's probably some kids, but I took the trash out last night at 9 PM. A bit late for kids to be out goofing around. Paranoid I know, but to feel safe I called the local police station in my tiny town and asked if there had been any break-in's of late. He said that there had been, but none in my immediate area.
Ugh! Suddenly that home alarm system is starting to sound really good.
