Softball & The Computerless Workday
May. 23rd, 2006 07:43 pmSoftball was fun last night. We won 28-0. The other team wasn't very good, but they were good sports. I think both teams had fun. We were so far ahead that my team was trying different positions on the field and some were batting left handed just to see what would happen. I was the catcher (insert joke) this game. I'm not great at it, my legs have some nice bruises on them. In the bleachers were
cincycub,
_decibel_, and
nonljeric watching the game. I'm happy they could make it out to watch. :D
I meant to post about the game this morning, but the computers were upgraded last night at work, which naturally means that we lost a router and other problems, so we basically had no internet access, mail access, and work applications all day. It's strange how dependent on computers we are these days. I was also acting supervisor. Very fun. It wasn't a bad day, I managed to do a few work arounds that saved a bit of time today for everyone, so it wasn't a total loss.
