Charmed question

For those of us who watch "Charmed" regularly, can someone explain the power channeling thing Phoebe did tonight? I wasn't aware her new power worked this way.

Yeah, that made little sense. Channeling emotions shouldn't allow power reflection. Wasn't there someting last week or the week before when she channeled someone's powers though? I can't quite remember...

I know that Phoebe channeled Piper's Valkyrie power at her, but I thought that was circumstantial.

I think they cut a portion of the scene where Phoebe rerouted that power ball to that demon chick. It would have made more sense if we had seen Phoebe move. In the following scene, Phoebe's arm was raised.

Still, not sure what's up there. They need to explain that more. It would be nice if Phoebe had a more aggressive power I guess.

Haven't seen the episode yet, have to wait until tuesday night. Roommate had to watch Simpson's instead. Arrgg! But,during the Valkyrie episode Phoebe was able to channel Piper's powers because they are controlled by their emotions and that supposedly plays into her new empath powers.Kinda lame, but that's how they explained it.

Hey Aaron! Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. I agree, it is a weak way of working it in, but this season seems to have a few plot holes in it for some reason.

I'm glad I'm not the only one confused over that. Who knows what they were thinking. I loved Wyatt scaring the guys off tho. Chris saving Leo surprised me tho.

Does it seem to you that they are making a lot of continuity errors this season? I mean, we meet the "Cleaners" who help hide magic, yet we never heard of them when the girls were outed and Prue died. We saw them cast a spell to turn back time, which was something they supposedly couldn't do before. Now, Phoebe's new power suddenly becomes more active than we were led to believe. I like the episodes this season, but it seems that the writers are slacking a bit.
