Christmas Shopping.. for me... :D
Dec. 18th, 2005 04:06 pmThis year my family drew names for Christmas this year. My mom has always worried about the amount of money each of us spent. So I have my brother-in-law's name and have to buy for the nephew of course :)
I have not been in the mood to shop this year for some reason. The crowds and rude people just put me off! So I braved the wilds of Wal-Mart and the local mall to get my gifts done, hating nearly every second of it. I swear if one more person parks his or her damn buggy in front of me and walks away, I'm going to take a big run and knock it halfway down the aisle.. it could be a new sport, buggy bowling!!! :)

Christmas Presents for Myself (grin)
After reading Derek's (
_decibel_) entry about his Media Play shopping spree, I decided to stop in at my local shop to see if there are any deals. Most DVD's and CD's are 20% off.
I blew about $100 bucks (you are a bad influence, Derek :)) and only got one discounted DVD for my folks, the rest is mine. Yeah, I got the first season of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and several B-grade horror flicks. I found it funny that Media Play put the price sticker over He-Man's fighting shorts.
Shopping therapy works wonders....
