Odds and Ends of the Week
Dec. 10th, 2013 09:37 pm- Monday was constantly busy. By the time I got home from work, I didn't want to go for a run outside. With the snowfall from Sunday night, most of the outside running paths were still covered, so I did the "Plyometrics" workout in my P90X DVD's. Geez, I'd forgotten how much that one kicks my @$$.
- I came home Monday to NO INTERNET! This was a tragedy of Greek proportions. After rebooting everything on my end, I came to the conclusion it was the provider. I tried calling them to find the phone calls not going through. When I finally did get through to the automated system, I sat on the phone for 40 minutes with no response. Eventually, I got a message that the network was down and they were fixing it. Eventually, they found the switch that Bambi the intern accidentally brushed up against and Northern Kentucky was reconnected to the world.
- Today was better, but still busy at work. Good things happened on some looming project so I was happy. I have a lot of work to do, but apparently I'm steering things in the right direction.
- I got home and should have done my bicep workout. However, I was beat and thought a short nap would help. The nap lasted way too long, so I skipped the workout (insert guilty feeling here). Still, I was able to catch up on some DVR stuff.
- The ideas for issue #14 of my comic are looming. I'm plotting things here and there, but I'm definitely waiting until after Christmas before drawing anything serious for it.
- Christmas cards are running late for me this year. Designs are in, but the printing is taking time. Darn weather.
