Grizzly & The Bear Patrol 10
Apr. 21st, 2013 04:24 pmIt took me a bit longer to get this issue done, but I like how it turned out. I've finally reached the double-digits in terms of number of issues. Honestly, I never thought I'd do this many and I'm happy to say I'm looking forward to doing more.
I put the rest of the issue behind the spoiler cut to keep everyone's pages from going crazy. There are 18 full-sized graphic pages behind the cut. There are story notes at the very end.

Any questions, comments, or criticisms? I welcome them all. :)

- "Winnie Ticket & The Lottery Legion" came up while I was sitting at work one day. It just struck me as so funny, a woman in a lottery ticket outfit directing a bunch of henchmen in lottery number ball costumes. I didn't think I could seriously make them a threat to the team, so they just appeared as a distraction for them. I left the number of the "Legionnaires" open. There could be dozen of them potentially.
- This is the first part of my attempt at a multi-issue arc. Not knowing how many issues of this comic I will make, I wanted to get Grizzly's full origin in print, but I knew that telling the story would take more than one issue to cover. I've already plotted the next issue out and will start working on it soon.
- I tried to incorporate some of the character drawings I'd done recently into this issue. The idea of The Brawn being a large, hairy muscular race was appealing and having them wear revealing clothing was fun too.
