The Folly of Youth Backfires
Feb. 7th, 2013 08:00 amI first saw this video a couple of days ago and really couldn't believe it. This young lady is 18, I think, and was picked up for possession of Xanax. During her arraignment, she giggles and twirls her hair in front of the judge, not taking this seriously at all (in fact, the judge asks if she's "on something"). I suspect she thought her cuteness would get her out of trouble.
However, her actions backfire in a big way when she flips the judge the bird after he raises her bond due to her smartness. She then says, "'sup" to the judge, arms crossed and head moving full of attitude. She was definitely asking for it.
I don't feel sorry for her at all and pity the defending attorney. What bugs me most of all are some of the Youtube comments where people are trashing the judge for being harsh. Ummm... you disrespect the court and you're going to be punished. If she was too stupid to know that, then she'll have some time to learn and contemplate that during her time in the lockup.
"Adios!"
