The Non-Softball Evening
May. 25th, 2011 07:09 amI kept my eye keenly on the weather yesterday as I was really looking forward to playing softball last night. I checked the rain out line and they had called all games off due to the wet fields from Monday night's storms and the threat of more last night. So I did my four mile run outdoors and had a quiet evening at home.
And it was a beautiful, almost-perfect evening weather-wise. Considering that we played in the cold and rain last week, I love the irony that we didn't play on a sunny, mild night last night.
I threw in a Netflix DVD I've had for weeks, the remake of I Spit On Your Grave, which is very graphic, but the revenge story is really good. There are some unexplained plot points, but it doesn't detract from the overall feel of the movie. Not one I'd buy (though I own the original), but I enjoyed it.
During the movie, I did get nearly two pages of the next comic installment drawn, which means I'm back in a drawing mood. Yay!
