The Bits and Pieces of the Week Thus Far

There hasn't been a lot of post-worthy stuff of late. I took off on Tuesday to extended the holiday weekend a bit. I needed a break, a mini-hermit-mode kind of week.

With the up and down temperatures, I've been able to run outside again. I did four miles yesterday and on Monday, which feels really, really good. I've missed it. Running gives me time to hash out private thoughts between my awesome rock concerts and my amazing superheroic feats, which play out in my brain between the varying iPod songs playing in my ears during those miles.

The exercise is going well, I fit into a pair of jeans the other day that used to cut off my circulation to my lower extremities. I didn't even have to suck it in to button them. This is week seven. One more and new pics have to be taken.

I reconnected online a bit last night with a few folks that I've missed for quite a while. Some are in new relationships, which have kept them very happily occupied away from online life. One admitted that his relatively new relationship has made him less available to his local buddies. He hopes to change that. I hope he does.

I've been drawing a bit here and there. I'll post them when they are done in the very near future.

For a short week, I'm really looking forward to the weekend.
