Pirate Radio

I've had Pirate Radio on Netflix DVD at my home for over a week. I really had wanted to see it in the theaters, but I just didn't get around to it when it was released. Tonight, I finally managed to settle down and see it.
The story involves a crew of misfit DJ's playing rock and roll music in 1966 Britain. The pirate radio group broadcasts from a boat in the North Sea until bureaucrats work on getting a law passed prohibiting such radio. It views like a mix of Animal House and British Rock Movies of the 1960's. It stars a bearded Philip Seymour Hoffman and a lengthy scene with a naked, furry Nick Frost.
While the movie didn't do well at the theater, I thought it was pretty entertaining and has a fantastic soundtrack of 60's rock music. Definitely worth the rental.
