Bruises, Chipotle, and Haircuts!
Jul. 2nd, 2009 02:05 pmToday is day two after the softball tumble and I've always believe that it takes two days for the soreness to really set in. And I still believe that is true after crawling out of bed this morning. My bruises are always vividly colored after a day or so. I posted a pic of the bruise behind the cut along with a clothed point to where it is (yeah, it's in a.. well.. near-naughty place).
( Possibly NWS Photo Behind the Cut )
I did run three miles today. That helped work some of the soreness out. It sounds strange, but it's true that the activity helps stretch out those muscles again. Chipotle for lunch (sooo goooooood) and then a trip to the barber for a buzz. The lady who cut my hair was fun -- BRIGHT green eyeshadow, very bubbly, and everything was "awesome." I tipped her well and then saw the bright green VW bug in the parking lot that just had to be hers.
Happy Green Shirt Thursday guys and gals. Be safe if you're traveling for the holidays!
