Class Cartooning
Mar. 20th, 2009 06:06 amNormally, when things get boring in a class, I tend to doodle in the corner of my handouts. This gives the appearance that I'm taking notes to anyone looking from afar and allows me to pass the time a bit. I've done this sort of thing since I was in high school.
We don't have handouts in this class.
Our class coordinator gave us CD's with the presentations on them, so we can load them to our PC's and go along that way. It's quite ingenious really. Not only do we save trees in terms of paper, but it forces us to use our computers for class work versus checking email or Livejournal. I'm sure our coordinator's thinking was about the saving paper and time part mainly.
Still, we do have paper for taking reference notes if we want them. So, doodling hasn't gone *completely* away. Yesterday's work is behind the cut. Forgive the scan, I had to use my digital camera to snap the photo and my usual image correction tools are on my desktop back home.
