"You are home and alone. Perhaps watching television, reading or drawing. You rip a fart. Do you stick around to check out what it's going to smell like?"

LOL... well, I did say I'd answer. I have, in fact, done the very scenario you've described (I'm sure the rest of you have too!) And while I don't sit still to specifically wait for the smell to hit, I don't necessarily run from it either. Once I'm on the couch and settled, it's hard to move.

"How do you create the word balloons for your 'toons? How do you size them for the text in them and move them with the text, to where you want them to be?"

I use this little godsend of a software called Comic Life. I bought it on a lark at the Mac store while visiting the Cleveland area a couple of years ago. It allows you to put thought balloons, speech balloons, etc., on your family photos to make them funny and you can set up panels to make a comic page from different pictures. It was over a year before I actually loaded it on my computer and I felt like a fool for not realizing what I had and using it sooner. I scan my colored cartoons into JPEG files, open Comic Life, drag the cartoons into the frame and then add the balloons and text where I need them to be. You can resize the balloons, change the font and colors, etc. Once they are on the page, they're objects that can be moved to wherever you want. It's incredibly easy to use, very intuitive, and only costs around $25-$30.

It's March-Question meme month, so if anyone else wants to pose a question to me, add them here.
