Hug a Santa Today
I've been meaning to post more cartoons, sometimes rougher, less polished ones. I doodled this one tonight and because my sister doesn't have a scanner, I had to photograph it and play with the brightness/contrast using the software on her computer. I miss my Photoshop.

I thought about doing this cartoon on the 3-hour drive to my hometown today. This time of year sometimes makes me wish I could be a kid again -- being off from school, having no real responsibilities, and believing in Santa. I suspect a lot of adults feel this way during the holiday season.

While aceofspace and I were stopping in Goody's to get a gift card for my sister, we were witness to a wonderful screaming fit by this kid at the adjacent register. One day I'll have to post the stages of a crying child fit as observed from my days working at a department store in high school.

While this kid was squaling, I quickly grabbed my cell for this shot. The teenager running our register thought it was hilarious. Ain't cell phone technology grand....?
