A Fannie Flagg Day
Nov. 26th, 2007 09:11 pmI stayed home sick again today. I hate a lingering cold. It's likely my own fault. When I feel better I do goofy things like rake leaves outside when it isn't warm... I hope the congestion breaks soon, I'm tired of coughing.
Today has had many Fannie Flagg influences. While chatting online this morning, I ended up watching Fried Green Tomatoes on cable. There are some good moments in that movie. It certainly makes you wonder if the secret of good barbeque is in the sauce.
After dinner, I finally popped in the "Best of Match Game" DVD. Wow... Brett Sommers looks old in the extras, but there are some funny moments in the shows, including a few with Fannie as a panelist. I often wonder if the censors would let Match Game on the air during the day now.
