Election Day and Other Junk
Nov. 6th, 2007 09:59 am- I did my duty and voted today. I hope I help get rid of my state's governer, the gay-hating, ultra-religious, felon-friend-pardoning Ernie Fletcher. I'll be happy to see him go!
- Voting in a Catholic school attached to the local Catholic church makes me uncomfortable. For some reason I feel like if I vote for a liberal candidate, there will be an army of nuns with moles on their faces and razor sharp rulers to chase me. So far it hasn't happened yet. Strange thought considering I was raised Baptist. If they looked like the bearded, broad-shouldered priests from EWTN, I wouldn't mind the idea so much.
- On a leftover Halloween point, I was turned off the light last night as I was getting ready for bed and noticed my pinky was glowing green. I had bought some glow-in-the-dark nail polish for my zombie costume and thought I had washed it all off. Apparently I missed one.
- I'm 7 lbs down on Weight Watchers, which I'm happy about. As I was looking around on the "Activity Menu" to earn activity points, I noticed that "sex" isn't listed as a choice. Not that I've had an occasion to use that to gain points, but I think it would be hilarious to find out someone said, "I had sex for an hour last night and gained 5 activity points for cheesecake!"
- I was supposed to have dinner with a friend traveling through from Indianapolis to Florida. He didn't call. I hope things are okay.
- Still no drawing ideas... *whine*
