Snow and Other Things

Walking Through the Snow...
I love the snow. Well... as long as I'm not driving in it, like yesterday. I luckily made it home just as it started to stick. I saw one car on my way home on its hood, wheels in the air, which can be a very sobering sight. This morning, with the yard covered in snow, everything seems so smooth and clean. I almost hated walking through it and messing it up. I did shovel the drive, but the traffic this morning seemed rotten, so I took the day off.

I've taken some time off from LJ, 411, and the internet in general of late. Various pressures and events, both personal and professional, made me just want to disappear and have some "me" time. It does make me a bit antisocial, unfortunately, but its good to relax and recharge. Maybe a real vacation in the future is in order, one where work isn't involved. All is well, so no worries. On the positive front, I have been drawing a lot of late, so there will be some new stuff posted soon.

Oh.. and taxes are done! Yay!
