Teaching Class in DC -- Day Two
Jul. 12th, 2006 05:30 amDay two seemed to drag a bit, lots of presentations and lots of helping. Everyone seems to get the material with the usual few students who need some extra help. The day did seem so long though. And it was in the high 90's and muggy out here, so I was drenched with sweat by the time I walked back to the hotel.
Bill (
roguecub) stopped by after work to go to dinner with me. We hit the Luna Bar and Grill for great burgers, nice service, and wicked desserts. My diet is so blown. Bill is a wealth of comic book knowledge and we hashed just about everything. We tore X-Men 3 apart, even though we both liked the movie and he's convinced me that I need to see the new Superman flick. We walked around the Circle afterward, hitting the bookstore and seeing some street band perform, before he needed to head home and I needed to go to bed. I was (and still am) so tired.
