Twin Garfield's in Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties
After mowing the yard in the hot sun today, I decided to treat myself to a movie. I wanted something light, so I hit a matinee of Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties. It was very cute, better than the first movie I think. Breckin Meyer is adorable and Billy Connelly plays a great villian. Tim Curry lends his voice to the other cat Prince and super-furry Bob Hoskins voices the bulldog. It had a cute story and a happy ending, so it was worthwhile. The movie also stars a recognizable face in Oliver Muirhead as a solicitor. If you don't recognize him, imagine a mustache on him and you might have seen him in the old Tombstone pizza commercials as the guy who was always asked "What would you like on your tombstone?" I've always thought he was cute.
After the movie, I hit Borders and planned on buying Sordid Lives on DVD for $9.99 (per their website), but it seems they sold it the day before and the computer didn't update :(
