After dinner, we headed to a showing of The Break-Up. I had low expectations as most of the reviews have not been favorable. However, I thought it was pretty entertaining. I'm not a big Vince Vaughn fan, but I thought he did a great job. Jennifer Aniston is doing well I think post-Friends. While the story seemed pretty predictable, it does throw some significant twists that made me admire the movie. The movie also stars Judy Davis as eccentric artist Marilyn Dean and Peter Billingsley, best known as Ralphie from A Christmas Story. Jon Favreau caught my eye as he stars as Vaughn's best friend Johnny. That goatee and that beefy body made me swoon.
Did I enjoy the movie? Very much.
Would I see it again? Hmmm? Not sure.
Buy the DVD? It's not really a movie I'd own, I think.
