New Infomercials
Nov. 16th, 2005 05:38 amOkay, it's really sad that I recognize new infomercials. When you get up as early as I do, I often find myself flipping through channels in the morning, seeing the same junk being hocked. This morning I noted a few new ones have been added.
Super buff Christopher Knight (aka Peter Brady) is now selling the AB Lounge, lying there on the tilting thingee shirtless, doing sit-ups. I have to admit, he's got a nice chest and abs. It may actually increase sales.
The other is the more disturbing one. Ron Jeremy, furry porn star, is now endorsing an "all-natural male enhancement" called Extenze. I find this one odd because Jeremy is known for having a large endowment anyway. Apparently, the promotional stuff has the top ten male porn stars stating that they use the junk. I wonder if that kind of endorsement would encourage guys to buy it? The stuff is crap though, it's a scam to get your credit card number to charge it for the next 30 day sample, whether you want it or not. The guy who does the "Smiling Bob" Enzyte version is in deep right now for doing that.
Save your money, buy comic books, DVD's, or dirty movies instead.
