Haircuts and Morning Dreams
Aug. 10th, 2005 08:19 amThe drive home from work yesterday was a disaster. Apparently, a car wreck on the KY side of I-75 happened at 10 AM and was still not cleaned up and cleared by 6 PM. That car must have been strewn from one side of the interstate to the other. No real word on what happened yet or if anyone was hurt. Needless to say traffic was backed up all the way into downtown Cincinnati.
After 90 minutes of driving to go 20 miles, I finally made it near home and decided to forgo the gym and get my haircut. One co-worker commented I was getting shaggy and my silver hairs were getting too long. So this gay hairdresser (any man who refers to himself as a "hairdresser" and not a "barber" is either very secure in his masculinity or as gay as Christmas) runs his hands through my hair and goes, "my goodness it's so thick" (hello, it must be Christmas time). He was pretty quick and very attentive, a good conversationalist, and my hair actually looks like I didn't get a haircut (usually my hair sticks up all over the place). I was very pleased. So after a very productive day, I settled in to veg at home and read a bit.
