Sunday at the Movies -- Willy Wonka
Jul. 17th, 2005 03:20 pmI'm still adjusting to the time changes. I don't recall it taking so long before, but I'm still waking up around 4 AM each morning. I'm managing to go back to bed, but the interruption is strange.

I got up finally and went to the movies to catch a matinee of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny Depp was better than I thought. I still recall the Gene Wilder Willy Wonka character as being better, in my opinion. The special effects were wonderful, especially the Oomphaloompas, who can really put on a show. I enjoyed the movie, it kept me pretty well entertained and I bust out laughing in some parts. Tim Burton's vision of the story is kooky (is that a word? Well, it fits, I mean, check out those sunglasses) and very entertaining.
As for the rest of my day, I have a headache and am still tired. I dread work tomorrow so bad. I'd love to take a week off from work right now. Oh well...
