Cachorro AKA Bear Cub
May. 15th, 2005 12:27 amAfter seeing
stripedtiger's entry about buying it, I decided to spend the last of an Amazon gift certificate I've had on account on Bear Cub. I happily received my unrated copy on Friday afternoon.

Cachorro AKA Bear Cub
Tonight, I put the DVD in and settled down on the couch. I was pleasantly surprised how good this movie was. I say this as most gay-themed movies generally are very low budget and it shows. This movie was very well done. No one was a saint and I think that is what made it so much more believable. The group of bears in the movies made it fun to watch and the relationship between the Pedro the Uncle and his nephew was very touching in its development. There is a few racy sex scenes in this movie, but I'm pretty sure it shocks the American viewers more than the European market.
The only negative is the subtitles, which took some time to get used to, but its hardly a complaint.
