Guinness and Eddie Izzard
Mar. 10th, 2005 07:40 amYesterday went okay, actually flowed pretty well. After work, a couple of coworker friends and I went to a local bar to drown sorrows and vent about work, which has become somewhat frustrating of late. Two pints of Guinness and some appetizers later, I was feeling pretty good and a bit more relaxed. It's good to let out the frustrations a bit.
When I got home, my latest package from Amazon had arrived, two DVD's by Eddie Izzard, Dress to Kill and Circle. I popped in Circle. I was amazed at the back cover, Eddie in a long coat, bra, panties and stockings. I had to laugh, only because he looked both very cool and very odd at the same time.
Circle was a bit disappointing. Well, so far, I didn't finish it last night. It seems like his material was okay, but a bit more disjointed than in Dress to Kill. And how he can walk around in those really high heels without falling and killing himself is beyond me.
Well, I went to bed early (Guinness makes me sleepy) and I'm dragging a bit this morning. Looking forward to Friday afternoon, as I'm sure we all are.
