The twin gets fired...
Dec. 3rd, 2004 11:14 pmI just got off the phone with the sis and the twin. They're out in a group at Applebee's in Richmond having a drinking outing because the twin got fired today from his new job.
It's mixed feelings. The twin didn't like the job, he said that management there was uncoordinated and made weird decisions when I was home last week. His archnemesis out there was the head of customer service, some fat bitch who was angry that he had gotten the job, because she wanted it. From day one, she told management that he was leaving early, taking days off when he wanted to, and was telling people that he made far more money than he did. The boss even showed up at 1:30 AM to make sure he was there one night.. and he was! What a surprise! The boss even told him that he needed to watch his back because she didn't like him and why.
Apparently, since he was still in his probationary phase, they could fire him. He did tell them during his close out meeting that he felt the cow was running the joint and the next person they hire for the job would likely have the same issues with her. I have no idea if they listened. He's hardly devestated, but no one likes to be fired.
I'm hacked because this lying blimp, who could never walk the distance and work the hours that the twin has, got away with this. I'm tempted to tell the twin to sue for slander, but he'll be happier away from there and the business is getting exactly what they deserve. Still, I hope the heifer chokes on her next twinkie.
