Feeling Better
Oct. 6th, 2004 10:29 amYesterday's bout with the sore throat isn't over, but it seems to be a little better than yesterdays. I'm spraying my throat like an opera singer with this Cepacol spray, which seems to help. Hopefully, it is just irritation and will return to normal soon.
Monday night after work I took my iPod to be looked at by the Apple Store where I bought it. Everyone was very nice, but they couldn't find a problem with it. Once I got it home, I started to wonder if the port where I plugged in the docking station was bad, so I changed it and lo-and-behold, it linked right up. Hopefully that is one mystery solved.
I caved in and bought Adobe Photoshop CS while there. I like to color my cartoons with the computer, but found the few paint programs at my disposal rather frustrating. So I plunked the substantial cost on my credit card and walked out with the software. It truly is amazing. Being sick yesterday afforded me much time to try it out on some scanned cartoons and I'm very impressed with the results. I think this will be one of my better purchases. I'm loving the applications and I've barely scratched the surface.
Sigh.. back to work. Panera for lunch, I hear, which will feel great on an aching throat.
