Retirements and Practical Jokes
Sep. 3rd, 2004 07:53 pmToday was sort of a sad day at the office, we had two of my coworkers retire. Although we were happy to see them retire and be happy, we hated to see them leave us. A catch-22 of emotions there.
The other day I came up with the idea of filling a coworker's cubicle up with balloons while he's off, getting ready for his wedding. We needed a morale boost for our office, so this morning I started filling his desk up with balloons. Others just started joining in and before we knew it, the cubicle was nearly full. It was great!
Here is a pic a friend took near the completion of our little joke. My newly-married coworker returns to the office on Tuesday. I can't wait. :)
