... And The Rest of The Day...
May. 6th, 2004 06:44 pmI took off early just a little bit. The weather was too nice and I wasn't get much done anyway.
Good news, I got my HIV test results today. Naturally, I was apprehensive, even though I already pretty much knew the answer. My nurse sweetheart Karen gave me my NEGATIVE results. She's still in love with me. She explained that if my results were positive, there would be counselors there to talk to me. I really wasn't worried. She asked me about the last time I had sex and wanted me to know that the only way to stay negative was to abstain. She rolled her eyes a bit at that last part just as I did. She knows that's not entirely realistic.
She's had it pretty hard herself. We discussed her family, her divorce, her two kids at home and her one in jail. I felt so bad for her, because she strikes me as a very sweet gal, one many guys would be happy to date. Well, many straight guys I would think.
With my good news, I left in a great mood. I went and bought some comic books and got me a frosty at Wendy's. Life is good. This weekend will be movies, movies, movies... and the gym.
