Busy Day, Busy Night
Jan. 20th, 2004 09:50 pmThe first day back at work after the three-day weekend was good. It was busy, just me writing reports and doing a few odds and ends. I really enjoyed that, strange as that may sound.
I was a good guy today and went to the gym like I promised myself I would do. After lifting weights and doing the elliptical trainer for 45 minutes, I was tired, but feeling good, I guess. Even got to see some of Undercover Brother, which is a goofy movie, in the cardio cinema.
I had a special project of sorts tonight. One of my co-workers is going to a birthday party for one of her friend's child. She told me that her friend doesn't have a lot of money and was wanting a "pin the tail" kind of game she had seen, but didn't have the money for it. She was asking me if I would draw an "Incredible Hulk" poster that the kids at the party could "pin the birthday hat" on.
It's hard to say no, especially knowing the situation, and I wouldn't. So I spent a couple of hours tonight doing the following. Turned out pretty well, I think, considering the VERY quick job. I admit, I hate coloring and it shows.
