Random Stuff -- Christmas Cards, Parental Visits, and Various Bear Sightings

Thank heavens it's Friday. For a short week, it has dragged, mostly because I'm acting supervisor this week while my boss is on vacation. Crack that whip!!!

I spent most of weekend working on Christmas card stuff. I can hear the collective "HUH?" in the distance. I've been meaning to design my Christmas Cards for a few years now, but usually forgot until it was too late. This last three-day weekend I decided to do it. I did two quick designs, colored them in Photoshop, and took them to Kinko's for printing. They turned out pretty good, I think, but they are not cheap and you only get a limited number of them. Still, I'm happy how they turned out. While I was in Kinko's on Monday, I spied this cute cubby type who was waiting to get a photo enlarged. He kept staring at me, but I never know if he just thinks I'm cute or just weird-looking or otherwise. Still, I'd love to have taken him home with me :)

My mom and stepdad are in town. They were supposed to spend the night at my house last night, but stayed at his sister-in-law's house instead. Mom called to let me know that she'd be at my house tonight instead. Thank heavens the house is clean.. ish.

After I got home last night, I had a knock at my door. After I threw some clothes on (the person had caught me as I was changing out of my work clothes), I answered the door to find another cute cubby type (blue eyes, sandy brown hair, goatee, fur sticking out of his collar -- sigh...) saying he was there to install my cable. I already have cable.. darn it.. so he was looking for the new neighbors next door. It had a good porn setup though. Strangely, his buddy came knocking on the door a little later looking for him (he'd gotten the wrong house too), but he was not so bearish.

Okay, enough of the lackluster posting, back to work.. :(

You have to learn to think fast. Whenever a "cute cubby type" knocks at your door wanting to install your cable, you immediately need to say, "Sorry, I already have cable installed, BUT if you'd care to come in and join me for a cuddle, THAT would be nice."

Yeah Mark I'd have to agree with the above comment. Something like "Hi... My name's Mark." to the guy at Kinkos may have led do dinner, a movie and the perhaps knocking of the perverbial boots. :-)

Oh, I'm am not that forward, I'm afraid. I have misfunctional gaydar so I'm never sure if he is gay or if it's just wishful thinking.

Please tell me -Why is it, that utility companies always and printing companies sometimes seem to hire woofy looking bears and cubs? It would be great to find a gay one that fits the bill; most of those guys are probably straight, unfortunately. BTW, you seem to notice the same things that I do. Good for you! ;-)

Well you don't have to know if they are gay technically. But I can identify with the feeling. Only time I've really gone out on a limb this year was during my sleep test. I was telling a story to the tech based on a conversation he started that lead to me coming out... he then mentioned his girlfriend or something. lol

Last friday I was going to a friends house... and on my way to his house.. I was all pretty with the suitcase, the jumper, listening to some music and with a smile on my face.. and there it was a cute cubby type ( yes, another one) going to his house... And my gaydar went off when he kept staring at me, greeted me (I think so, as I saw his mouth moving but i couldn't hear a thing because of the earbuds I use, so he could have perfectly said 'go home fat fuck' with a smile on his face.... )...

Downside.. on my way down the street, I noticed that there were trees between the guy and me.. so after 10 seconds i couldn't notice if he was still staring at me or not...

Anyway... going back to YOU.. of course he was checking you, who wouldn't?
