I enjoyed The Island, probably would have done better box office wise had it another title. Michael Bay is a great director/producer when he doesn't work with Jerry Bruckhiemer. With out Bruckhiemer, you get a stylized entertaining film. And Mark you are right, Scarlett Johansen is a natural beauty, she's come a long way since "Ghost World"
