An Indescribable Funk

kybearfuzzAfter a fairly decent weekend, I've found myself in something of a funk this week. The exact cause seems to be fleeting, just a culmination of different irrational things and some personal issues that I have little control over.
Work is going to be off and on this week, up in the air as the management here are all acting for each other (I was the boss yesterday). Mom is calling always with the dreariest of news and wonders when I'm coming home again for the weekend. This weekend is Mother's Day and I'm contemplating heading down home, but the thought of sitting through another Baptist Mother's Day sermon of fire and brimstone at her church just turns my stomach. I love Mom dearly, but I may just send flowers and a gift and head home some other time.
Other than that, I have been thinking of staying offline a bit this week. I've been spending an inordinate amount of time at the computer, not drawing, not reading, not going to the gym, etc.
Oh well...
