The subject of the entry sounds far more ominous than it is.

I made it out of work in time to catch a matinee of Cursed at the Levee like I wanted. Not a very full theater, no teenagers, but one baby. What the heck is wrong with young parents today that they bring babies to horror movies! Luckily, the child was quiet for most of the movie.

No spoilers for the movie, but it was good in some parts and silly in others. Christina Ricci actually impressed me quite a bit, showing that she can act her age, even though she still looks very much the teenager. She actually can be the lead in a flick. The special effects were okay as well. Overall, though, I will say that it wasn't as frightening as I thought it would be, which was disappointing. There was one scene I know had to be deleted from the final cut, there were too many clues leading up to it, but it didn't appear. One pseudo-spoiler, don't wait for any extra scene at the end, there isn't one.

My date for tonight called to cancel right as I was leaving the Levee. He was sick earlier this week and called to say that he still wasn't feeling well. He asked for a raincheck and got one. So, another day....

I'm strangely bursting with energy tonight, so I'm doing some massive cleaning of this house. How it gets so messed up when I'm the only one here is beyond me.

You've had really bad luck with movie audiences lately :)

Babies at a horror movie. What were they thinking?

I hear about about a messy house. I'm surprised how much this house has gotten messed up in the past week with only me here.

I know.. in a past life I must have been a chatty person in a movie theater. This is my fate in life, karma coming back to me!

I know that if I had kids I wouldn't! I remember seeing the South Park Movie and saw a group of kids under six in there with their parents. I was stunned, especially when the movie got really going with the dirty words flying like crazy.

It make me wonder how these parents were raised.

Speaking of messy houses

Well, in this case apartment, but being the only one here, it is surprising how it can get to be a mess - especially the bedroom, which at this point is the messiest spot around. :-) I've been in this place over a year and I still have not gotten it finished, nor organized yet.

Kept seeing you around on other journals and have had to lurk. Don't mind if I friend you as I like what I see.
