Merry Christmas!!!

kybearfuzzMerry Christmas all! I'm looking outside the window at a very sunny day and wondering "how freakin' cold is it out there? Should I start my car and let it warm up?"
My family and I unwrapped presents last night and ate like royalty. My diet has gone to the dogs, at least until I get home again. The haul was considerable and all things I really wanted:
From the twin -- Rockport shoes (way cool!), a shirt, and a new coat
From the sis -- headphones and "The DC Comics Encyclopedia" (LOVE IT!)
From the best friend -- "Star Trek: The Next Generation" Season 7 DVD Box Set (my inner geek squealed!!!) and a funny tee-shirt
From the twin's girlfriend -- a homemade pecan pie (**salivates like Homer Simpson**)
The sneaky parent award goes to my mom who would have made an excellent strategist for the military I think. She showed me the UK quilt she made for the twin and then suggested that I might get the sawblade clock to throw me off. A fine acting job she did because I believed her. Instead, she had made me a UK quilt too! Oh, it's beautiful and comes with a matching accent pillow. I will post pics when I get home.
Well, I'm off to read my book and get ready to go pig out at my sister's house again. Merry Christmas everybody!
