Working on Saturday

kybearfuzzI enjoy my weekends, I love sleeping in. Today I couldn't, I had agreed to work overtime for a co-worker in need. A filing project of massive proportions and dwindling time frames made for a long day. The files needed to be cleaned out, we found a file from 1958! These things are supposed to be purged every year and how this escaped notice is amazing. It had a handwritten report, on notebook paper, in pencil.. I was shocked and surprised.
I left work and met up with another Bear411 guy from Columbus who is in town for Furgasm. I had a couple of beers with him, he's a nice guy. I felt like I had screwed up spending time with him due to the overtime, but oh well...
I'm beat and those beers have just made me more tired. I would have enjoyed going to the bar to see the festivities, I think, but I'd be exhausted for tomorrow. Yeah, I'm doing the file work again... I've got some ideas for that overtime money anyway.
