Weekend Round-Up
Just odds and ends over the weekend:
Happy Monday... yah...
- I slept a lot. I think the emotional roller-coaster I dealt with at work last week took a toll on me. I'm ready to tackle the week. I believe that things are on the mend at the office.
- On Saturday, I went to see "The Conjuring". I thought it was a pretty good movie, great acting with a very nice plot. It wasn't as scary as I expected, but I think the previews telegraphed some of the tenser moments so I was ready for them. I jumped a couple of times. The movie had very little blood and no nudity, so the R-rating is a mystery. I'd see it again.
- I ran 3.2 miles on Sunday morning. Perfect weather, horrible run time, but I managed to finish. It is possible, I can do it.
- I started drawing issue #12 of "Grizzly & The Bear Patrol" last night. So far, I'm five pages into the issue. Lots of
hot male nuditysuperhero action to be included. - The search for the replacement hubcap is over. I spent a bit of the weekend searching for the hubcap for my car with no luck. I find it hard to believe that people are not wrecking Toyota Corollas so the parts aren't available. I finally ordered it online for a lot more than I think it's worth, but at least my car won't look so hillbilly anymore.
Happy Monday... yah...

Atmospheric horror flicks are so rare these days, maybe it's why I love some of the horror movies from the 1970's. They didn't have a lot of the big special effects, so they had to make them scary and suspenseful to compensate.

I'm usually too much of a scaredy-cat to go see horror flics - but love reading your reviews of them.
Looking forward to the next adventures of Grizzly & Company ... don't let anyone discourage you from depicting 'hot male nudity '- remember, it's a major source of the sincerest applause imaginable ;0)

And I'd protect you in the scary movie, I promise.
As for the comic, I think "hot male nudity" would definitely negate the PG-13 aspect that I've tried to maintain. I'll have to save that for the odd cartoon or two that I'd post here :D

Looking forward to the next comic, nudity or not.
