How in the world have I missed this movie!!!? I finally got it from my Netflix queue and watched it last night while doing some work-stuff. First, I didn't realize it was a comedy and I found the music very fun. Watching them play in these little diners, walking on tables, scaring the patrons was hilarious. And the drummer... rawr!

My favorite line in the whole movie: "It's a car wash, ladies and gentlemen!"

I was pleasantly surprised by this film as well! I got to see the stage performance when I lived in Philly and can easily say I'm a huge fan. Brilliant movie.

When the show came to San Francisco about four years ago, I got Fred and I tickets, and didn't realize we would be in the third row on the aisle seat.

When we sat down, Fred looked at me and says, "I bet you get the car wash".

Let me tell you, denim skirt + fringe tassels = Car Wash for Donovan. It was awesome. That movie is a Pure Own. I just wish they would release it on Blu-Ray already!

I think there's a grace period, but don't push it! Plus, it's a good excuse for getting together with some friends who've seen it to help you through the first time (it's not really that much fun to watch by yourself).

LOL.. one of the first things I did after sealing up the Netflix envelope is download the soundtrack from iTunes! I've listened to it at work all day on my iPod.
