Frantic Substitute Friday
Today is Friday for me, thanks to the "national day of mourning" for government employees. I'm not getting much done, I admit. I can't concentrate. The trip is looming ever so close and I can think are things like, "Did I pay that bill in time? Have I forgotten my plane ticket? I need to do laundry, etc"
It doesn't help that I have one supervisor who has been calling every five minutes with stupid questions (not my supervisor, mind you!). In addition, I have one co-worker, whom I'll call Mr. Helpful, who has been coming up to me giving advice on how to get around Canada plus maps and tourist stuff, so I don't get "lost". It's Canada, you idiot, not some Third World country where they don't speak English! He constantly is thinking of something else to tell me.
I think I'm leaving early today just to get away from the madness and get home where so many things still need to get done.

You should tell him that his maps are useless as we travel in helicopters.
