kybearfuzz: (Cheers!)

The afternoon!

Finally got out of the office. I decided to swing by the theatre and catch Shrek 2 again. I love that movie. PussNBoots is the best!

I went grocery shopping afterwards. It's getting a bit more difficult, looking for the low carb items. I ended up hitting two groceries for what I wanted. On the way back I got a low carb wrap from Subway. I was amazed how small this thing was, especially considering that I was famished. It was the size of a large twinkie. I'm sorry, but in this case, size did matter.

I got home and made my own wrap and was darn impressed with the results:

Two low carb onion-flavored wraps = 100 cal, 6 carbs
One large chicken breast cooked & diced = 120 cal, 0 carbs
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese = 110 cal, 1 carb
1/4 cup of diced tomatos = 25 cal, 4 carbs

End result was two large, delicious, overfilled wraps, 355 calories and 11 carbs, and I was full! Necessity must definitely be the mother of invention! One of the best parts of the diet is that it's forcing me to become a more creative cook and I'm liking it.

I have to admit that the human Shrek was quite the hottie, even though he was animated! One of the other reasons I loved to see it again.

I was lucky I finished my drink early watching shrek, or it would have ended up all over the people in the row in front of me during the Starbucks bit.

Glad to hear the diet is working well, just so long as you don't have to resort to the protein platter from McD's.

LOl! It was hysterical, wasn't it?

McD's protein platter?? Hmmm... :)

Two low carb onion-flavored wraps, chicken breast diced, shredded cheese diced tomatos... Yum... I htink I'm going to give that a try this weekend.

Skippy has a pretty good peanut butter, only 3 grams, smuckers no add surgar jam's 6 grams, low carb bread 4 grams per slice, with a hand full of pork rhines less then 1 gram (yeah ok not every one likes them), makes a pretty good lunch.

Those wraps are great! I loved them enough to have them for lunch.

The low carb PB&J sandwich sounds good, but I may have to wait until I reach the next phase first.
