More Odd Phone Business

Okay, I must have been an evil phone operator in a previous life or got a cursed number when I moved into the house. I just got another "phone call from the bizarre."

A lady from Missouri called and asked for me by name. I thought, "oh great, telemarketer..." She never mentioned her name, but said that she was looking for her father's long lost son. Uh... okay. I explained to her that I am without a doubt my father's son, the physical resemblance alone tells that tale.

I asked how she found me. She said she looked me up on the internet. I asked what made her think I was the missing son. She said it was based only on the name and the age. Naturally, I asked her how old she thought I was, becuase as far as I know my age isn't posted with my full name anywhere. She was only a couple of years off. I finally just told her that she needs to look elsewhere. Being a twin and looking like my dad, my geneology is too obvious and well documented. Ugh! What next?

"Have you checked the children???" in an eerie voice?

Weird

I think I'd start thinking about changing my number. Of course, I'm sure you enjoy the calls from the women's prison enough not to hassle with it. ;)

LOL.. I never chat with the female inmates, they call collect. :D And I like my phone number too much to change it, so I guess I'm stuck with the oddities that seem to be coming with it.
