Folsom Prison Blues...

Last night, I got five collect phone calls from "Christine," whom the automated voice informed me was "an inmate at the Hamilton Country Correctional Facility." I finally had to call the jail and ask them to tell "Christine" that she had the wrong number. This has happened in the past with the Kenton Co Jail in the past. Why do I think my phone number is one some prison bathroom wall? And why couldn't it at least be the men's prison?

I actually called the phone company about this the first time it happened. The operator informed me that sometimes the inmates get bored and dial numbers at random just to talk to someone. Kinda sad really.

Umm??? I have a feeling, the bathroom walls are also the walls to their cells. So even if you were in the mens room walls, it could be a full size jale cell (with rotating residents).

Either that or your number is carved into the middle of the dinning halls table (at the womens facility), with a "for a good time call" message.

*groan* Wonderful.... I'm sure this is the number's previous owner's fault for some reason.

You are a dear friend, Mark ... so you know I would never laugh at your pain (except in this instance). ;)
