My Halloween Costume

I've spent several weeks putting together my Halloween costume this year. My folks never really had the money to spend on costumes, so we kids always had to be somewhat inventive. One of the perks of being an adult is that I can spend a little money, but still like to put my costume together myself for the most part.

I wont lie, I love how this one turned out. I did one last "dress rehearsal" of my costume to make sure there were no snags to fix. I took some photos and couldn't decide which I liked more. You can tell me which you think is the best.

Heh! I thought you probably would like this. I actually decided to dress as Star Boy because I got the Flight Ring at my comic book shop for buying the new Legion Lost title. I admit, I was more than a bit nervous about the tights thing.

I mean, there aren't a lot of bearded heroes out there! :)

True, but most of them are also counterparts for friends. The only ones available are Grizzly, Center, and Polar Bear. I don't have the height for any of them :)

While Star Boy may be able to increase the mass of any given object, I'd be willing to bet more than a few people would be willing to be pulled into your gravitational field.

The beard is one of the reasons I chose him this year. Of course, there will be all of three or four people who will know the character at the party, but I don't care :)

The suit is one of those "full-body" spandex outfits. I cut the headpiece off and put the glitter/stars on it with fabric paint. The gloves are from a Halloween Express store and the boots I ordered from Amazon.com.
