Colour Cub Toon & Other Things

I went last night to see a big screen showing of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974) at a local theater. I always wondered what it's like to see these movies on the big screen. I was surprised at the crowd, very quiet for the most part. And at $5, it was a good bargain.

After the movie, I came home and colored this cartoon I drew earlier this week of Colour Cub. My buddy Jerry was wanting a cartoon of his superhero to put on a tee-shirt, so I did a colorful design I thought would look good on it. He's already responded that he loves it and his Facebook friends seem to like it too.

Ugh... I need to go work out. Happy Friday all!

You do realize that the Gaymer is immune to the full spectrum of Colour Cub's powers?

Muhaha!

There's a theater in Huntington, WV, that has a "Flashback" film retrospective on Sundays and Mondays at 4:00pm. They show digitally-remastered films in hi-def on the big screen, and admission is just $5.00. I'm going to see John Carpenter's "The Thing" (1982) there later this month. When they showed "2001: A Space Odyssey" it was like watching it for the very first time!
