kybearfuzz: (Mornings Suck)

After the Monday

Time seemed to fly yesterday. I was almost crazy busy, but strangely got a fair amount of stuff done, which made me feel good. After work I hit the gym, doing chest and triceps and cardio and admiring the bears.

Two caught my attention. One was a dark, burly bearded guy with big shoulders and belly. He's not a regular as I've seen him and I think he was there working out with his teenage daughter. The other was one I saw on my way out in the locker room. A daddy bear with an amazingly broad body. His shoulders and chest just seemed so wide for a man his height, but he was strikingly handsome and furry.

I settled down last night and started writing up the second installment of Grizzly #3. I was inspired the night before with a great plot that allows me to integrate a new hero into the story. Not exciting for anyone else, but I love it when an idea like that hits me.

Nothing else to report. I need caffeine. Happy Tuesday all...

Can't wait to see the results of the inspiration!

HUGS!

I'm actually looking forward to drawing it myself. I was already imagining the pages and the arrangement last night. It probably wont be until the end of the month though :(

I get the fact that an idea hit you. I had a similar experience yesterday, only around knitting rather than drawing (since I can't draw, but I can knit). I wanted to try a technique called "double knitting" so that a garment is two-sided, showing the pattern on one side and the negative of the pattern on the other. It makes for a very thick garment, and I figured out how to do it, and then couldn't wait for the day to end so I could go home and try it. I've got about 11 rows done. It's slow, but I'm enjoying it.

Can't wait for your new installment.
So, like, when can we buy these at the store????

It's fun when inspiration hits, I just wish it wouldn't hit while I'm laying in bed trying to sleep. Still, I do love the feeling and the urgency where you can't wait to give it a try.

Buy them at the store? I've been asked that a lot and the truth is that I have no idea. When I went to the comic book expo in town a few weekends back, I did get some info on publishing, but not sure about the monetary investment of it. Time will tell.

I know just what you mean. When I was writing on a regular basis, I always got excited when a new idea popped into my head. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Sean! I'm excited to see how this will turn out. :)

I've chosen this one to start posting, given the topic of inspiration.

I'm totally with madknits (and yeah, double knitting can be a mess, as I learned through a lame attempt at a greek key pattern scarf ages ago)...

It can be awesome when that inspiration hits, and yes, have had it happen at 3am. The more inspired, the better the results.

Speaking of which, you're also inspiring me to get to the gym, which I needed.

Oh, and you inspired me to post. Yay.

Well, howdy handsome! Good to see you on here!

I didn't know you were a knitter! How cool!

And from what I've seen you look to be in good shape :)
