Chely Wright Comes Out

I read on Yahoo News yesterday that country singer Chely Wright has come out as a Lesbian.

All the single ladies will love her because even I can see that she's smokin' hot, but I worry that country music radio will pretty much stop playing her music. Not that she's had any big hits of late, but she has been writing music for other country acts. I'm sure the Christian pit-bulls out there will demonize her.

She's not the first country singer to come out. k.d. lang beat her out on that one, but when was the last time you heard country radio play any of her music.

Of course, this news is coinciding with the release of her new book and a new CD. As they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity.
