Mark as Superhero

I can haz spandex...

The ever-moofy [livejournal.com profile] gotmoof had nominated me as the superhero to be drawn in my last post, but I've drawn myself as a superhero several times in my life. The most current character is one created during my high school years that I called Orion. He has magnetic powers and has gone through many costume variations over the years. I really should dig up some of the original costumes for fun sometime.

Since I'm at work and didn't have any of them available, I did a quick sketch of the latest variation during a break. You'll see elements of different costumes I've used for other characters in it, but I promise, I started here first. I put it behind a cut to save everyone space. And no, I don't count as the new character, so the title is still up for grabs.

Me (with many more muscles added) as Orion

If that is a new photo of you on your avatar...You must have a painting in your attic: You look younger and thinner every time I see your page... hate hate hate. LOL (giggle)

LOL... Thanks :) While I may be dieting, I'm not apparently losing weight anymore. I do have a painting in my attic and it looks like Bea Arthur!

Face it, Dorian Gray wouldn't have needed a painting in this day and age, he just needed Photoshop :D

You have bulges in nearly all the right places!! I'm curious to see the others you did!

Actually doesn't he look kinda like your other twin that I emailed you about?

The joys of an imaginary character, bulges wherever you need or want them.

And I still don't see it... maybe around the eyes...?

I see it.

But you're cuter, of course!

Great sketch and the sash is so fashionable - you accessorize well. So I'd recommend Texwriterbear for your superhero sketch. He should have the ability to split into identical twins and be a spoof of the wondertwins - only furrier!

Thanks! My costume usually has a wide buckled belt... but felt it the sash might give me a piratical look :)

Oooh.. neat idea for Sean! :)

I think if you're doing a little pirate thing let's see some chest hair, like your icon...

and I'd luv to see Sean as a character
