kybearfuzz: (Excuse Me)

It's Official...

I got back to the office today and had someone congratulate me on my new position in the garage, meaning that the announcement was finally made and had been emailed out to the masses in the office. It's something of a relief as it finally stopped all the very curious questions I've been dodging this past week.

When I checked my emails before I left, I found 40 or so emails from folks I'd worked with in different offices. While most were congratulatory, some were oddly cryptic. Some examples:

"Oh my..."

"My condolences."

"Though I am happy for you, who is going to do the work up there now?"

I start my new position at work next Monday, so I have a lot to do in the time I've got left in my current one.

Should you be worried after reading the Condolences? ;-)

Yeah, that, My condolences one is a little scary, unless they are just joking?

Well, at least most were congratulatory. :)

You start next week, or one more week?

YaY! Does this mean no more Cleveland? Congratulations to you! I'm betting the condolences are some inside joke from long ago that you had forgotten about...er something.
