One of the These Things Is Not Like the Others...

Playtex Tampons in the Vending Machine
Choose Carefully...

  • At work at 6:15 AM and left work at 8:30 PM. Long LONG day...
  • I've probably hit every rest stop between Cincinnati and Cleveland today.
  • Got cruised by a daddy bear trucker at one rest area.
  • iZombie continues to function, supplying me with multiple BTalk podcasts for the drive.
  • One rest stop had tampons in the vending machine right next to the candy and Cheez-It crackers. I imagine that some people have gotten very disappointed if they typed in the wrong numbers...
  • Chipotle = dinner
  • My car odometer rolled over 20,000 miles this evening.
  • Really tired... but Cleveland area work is now done...
  • I really need to remember to bring my camera with me when I'm on the road.

Oh, thank God Cleveland is done. What a pain in the butt that was.

You got cruised at the truck stop? Not surprising. ;)

Why did you stop at every rest stop?

How did you get the iPod going again?

May I ask more questions?

You're too kind :)

Why did you stop at every rest stop?

I ended up buying a bottle of water or Diet Coke at every stop and then needed to go at the next one. I was also getting tired and the stop helped break things up.

How did you get the iPod going again?

I ended up starting the Mac Disk Utility while having it hooked up and erased the drive. I then did the typical "restore" process and things seemed to work again.

May I ask more questions? Of course you can :)

20,000 huh, I used to have a Nissan and gave it to my Niece before I moved to NYC. She called me about a month ago saying that the enguine died a 275,000 miles. It had 200,000 when I gave it to her. Not bad.
